Red Velvet's new appearance has been unveiled in an old video, hinting at their August comeback. The video, which was shared on Red Velvet's official Instagram and YouTube channels, depicts a mystery environment and features the song 'Somethin Kinda Crazy,' which was featured on the band's debut mini-album, as well as vivid photos of the members. The teaser is part of an omnibus-format film that includes songs from the critically acclaimed Red Velvet album as well as a collection of little trinkets that trigger nostalgia among fans.

In addition, from July 26 to August 1, Red Velvet will host a new promotional event called the 'Mysterious Queen's General Shop,' which will feature a general store idea via Instagram for a week. In an archival style, each picture idea or video will include a sentimental object from their past videos and comebacks. It's a fun way for them to relive their journey with their fans, and it's also a clever method to promote their debut mini-album. As a homage to their fans who supported and adored all of their songs, The Queen's Archive will broadcast fresh footage of their earlier songs.

The official comeback date has yet to be determined, but we expect to hear their new music soon! This will be their first performance since the December 2019 release of ‘The ReVe Festival: Finale,' which featured the hit title track ‘Psycho,' a mature song with an exquisite and vintage MV idea.

Yeri, a member of Red Velvet, just made her acting debut in the film "Blue Birthday," co-starring Pentagon's Hongseok. It's a dream romance drama in which Oh Ha Rin (Yeri) reminisces about her first love, Ji Seo Jun (Hongseok), who died 10 years ago on her birthday. Since elementary school, he had resolved to confess to his childhood buddy, but he ended up killing himself, much to her surprise and horror. On July 23, the first episode was released on Naver TV and Viki.

This innovative concept, as well as the promotional endeavor, has piqued our interest. Is it catching your attention?
